Facilitated by Ellen Pope:
Ellen has extensive experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers, including those with special needs. Her practice as an occupational therapist has focused on using a family centered, coaching approach to support families with children with feeding issues, fine and gross motor issues, sensory processing issues, self-help skills and social emotional concerns. She became even more interested in learning about sleepwhen she recognized the huge impact sleepproblems can have not only on the child’s well-being and development but on the whole family’s well-being. Ellen has a clinical doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, and in addition to a lifelong practice in pediatrics, she was assistant professor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Ellen is certified by the Family SleepInstitute as a Child Sleep Specialist.
