If you’re feeling ready to wean your toddler, join Sarah B. Burghauser from the La Leche League, for a one-time FREE workshop on weaning toddlers! Saturday, August 19th, 10-12 at The Santa Fe Parenting Center.
Training will cover a program overview, effective ways to “mother the mother” through physical and emotional support, baby basics, and volunteer self-care. Encourage family members in welcoming the newborn and adjusting to the new family structure. Support parents through a non-judgmental presence, validating their new challenges. Focus on the mother's needs so she may enjoy well-deserved respite. If you are interested in joining and becoming a new volunteer please inquire HERE. Questions?
