There Is a Voice | Marissa Visscher
1 in 5. That’s how many new and expecting parents experience a perinatal mental health condition.
Not 1 in 100. Not rare. 1 in 5.
And yet, most people don’t know where to turn – or even that what they’re feeling has a name. Too many parents navigate this in silence.
May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month, and Many Mothers is here to help raise awareness, combat shame and stigma, and provide education and support.
From Bump to Baby is a workshop hosted at The Family Center for expecting parents and those who have recently welcomed a baby. Participants will learn about the warning signs of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and the different avenues of support available.
We are here to help lift your voice, so you don’t have to navigate this alone.
