New Volunteer Training

Many Mothers 4001 Office Court, Suite 207, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Training will cover a program overview, effective ways to “mother the mother” through physical and emotional support, baby basics, and volunteer self care. This training will prepare you to: Assist mothers in transitioning to this new chapter of family life with a newbornEncourage family members in welcoming the newborn and adjusting to the new family structureSupport mothers through a non-judgmental presence, validating her new challengesFocus on the mothers’ needs so she may enjoy well deserved respite.
